Alia Hegazy was actively involved with AIESEC from 2011 to 2014, taking on various roles. She served as a Member of the Outgoing Development Program (oGCDP) from 2011 to 2012 for nine months. In 2013, she was a Team Leader for five months in Cairo, Egypt, and later worked as a Member of the Reception and Services Team in Berlin, Germany, for three months in 2013 to 2014. Alia Hegazy achieved her Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy and Biological Sciences from The German University in Cairo, studying from 2009 to 2014. She also attended The German University in Berlin for one year, furthering her studies in the same field. Prior to her university education, she completed her high school education at Futures American High School from 2006 to 2009.

Alia Hegazy gained experience in public relations as a Public Relations Assistant for Model United Nations from 2010 to 2011, where she worked for ten months. This role contributed to her skills in communication and stakeholder engagement, which she utilizes in her current position.
