Andy Scotter worked at Queen's University in various roles. He served as a Procurement Specialist in Strategic Procurement Services from 2010 to 2016, where he focused on procurement processes. In 2016, he briefly held the position of e-Procurement Supplier Enablement Lead for three months. Additionally, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Biochemistry from 2003 to 2007 and worked as a Project Manager in Research Support Services for one year from 2009 to 2010.

Experience at Ontario Ministry of Health

Before his current position, Andy Scotter was the I&IT Senior Vendor Relationship Manager at the Ontario Ministry of Health from 2016 to 2020. In this role, he managed vendor relationships and ensured effective service delivery in Kingston, Ontario. His experience at the Ministry has contributed to his expertise in managing I&IT services and vendor interactions.

Educational Background

Andy Scotter studied at the University of Nottingham, where he earned a Master of Science (MSci) in Biochemistry & Biological Chemistry from 1995 to 1999. He continued his education at the same institution, obtaining a PhD in Molecular Biology from 1999 to 2003. Earlier, he completed his A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, English, and Geography at Stowmarket High School from 1990 to 1995.
