Previous Experience in Health Analysis
Prior to her current position, Carley Hay held several roles at the Ontario Ministry of Health. She worked as a Senior Health Analyst from 2008 to 2013, where she contributed to health policy development and analysis. Before that, she served as a Senior Health Analyst/Epidemiologist from 2005 to 2008, and as a Senior Specialist from 2013 to 2020, focusing on various health initiatives and research projects.
Early Career in Epidemiology
Carley Hay began her career in public health as an Epidemiologist at the Toronto District Health Council from 2004 to 2005. She also worked as a Population Health Researcher at the Central East Health Information Partnership for six months in 2004. These early roles provided her with foundational experience in health research and data analysis.
Educational Background in Epidemiology
Carley Hay studied at the University of Toronto, where she earned a Master of Health Science degree in Epidemiology. This academic background has equipped her with the necessary skills and knowledge to analyze health data and inform public health policies effectively.
