David Schachow has held multiple positions at the Ontario Ministry of Health, contributing to various aspects of health policy and program administration. His roles included Senior Manager of the Assistive Devices Program from 2010 to 2016, where he managed program operations, and A/Director of the Drug Programs Delivery Branch for a brief period in 2016-2017. He also served as Manager in the Deputy Minister's Office from 2005 to 2010, and as a Senior Policy Analyst in different units from 2002 to 2005.
Education and Professional Development
David Schachow earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Carleton University, studying from 1982 to 1985. He furthered his education by completing the Advanced Health Leadership Program at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management in 2017. This program enhanced his leadership skills and knowledge in health administration.
