Prior to his current position, Jag Dhamrait worked at the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care in various roles. He served as a Senior Correspondence Writer from 2009 to 2015, where he contributed to the Communications & Marketing Division. He later became the Web Communications Project Manager in the Digital Communications Unit from 2015 to 2017, enhancing the ministry's online presence and communication strategies.
Educational Background in Business and Finance
Jag Dhamrait studied at Thompson Rivers University, where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on Public Sector Management from 2010 to 2012. He also attended Sheridan College, completing a Business Administration program with a concentration in Finance from 1995 to 1999. His educational background supports his expertise in communications and digital media.
Experience in Financial Services
Before transitioning to communications, Jag Dhamrait gained experience in the financial services sector. He worked as an Investment Advisor in the Private Client Division at Rathore & Associates Asset Management from 2001 to 2004. He also held positions as a Credit Analyst at Wells Fargo from 2004 to 2006 and as a Team Leader in Sales & Credit at RBC from 1998 to 2001.
