Following this, she served as an Implementation Lead for Ontario's Seniors Strategy from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, she was a Performance Improvement Planning Consultant at the Health Quality Branch from 2010 to 2012.

Background in Crisis Counseling

Before her work in healthcare policy, Janelle Ritchie served as a Crisis Counsellor at Victim Services Toronto from 2006 to 2009. This role involved providing support and assistance to individuals in crisis, contributing to her understanding of public health and community services.

Educational Qualifications

Janelle Ritchie holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Criminal Justice and Public Policy from the University of Guelph, which she completed from 2000 to 2004. She also obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Administration from Humber College in 2006. Additionally, she studied Addictions Education at McMaster University, earning a Certificate from 2008 to 2013.
