Additionally, he was involved with the Ontario Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries as a Special Advisor from 2020 to 2021.

Jeffrey Oakes has experience in project management, having worked as a Project Assistant in the Ontario Place Revitalization Branch from 2011 to 2013. In this role, he contributed to the planning and execution of revitalization projects aimed at enhancing the cultural and recreational offerings at Ontario Place.
