Current Role at Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care
Nenad Jelic serves as Chief Architect at the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. In this role, he guides the future direction of health system services and technologies across Ontario. He is responsible for the management and development of Public Health Information Systems, including Panorama and iPHIS. Jelic actively participates in the creation of the 2020-25 Multi-Year Planning, Digital Strategy, and Policy development. His work focuses on strategic architecture and business process re-engineering to enhance health services.

Nenad Jelic has a strong educational foundation in Electrical Engineering. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Belgrade between 1982 and 1987. He continued his studies at the same institution, achieving a Master's Degree from 1988 to 1990. Jelic further advanced his education by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kragujevac, where he studied from 1990 to 1993.
