Robin Martin serves as the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care at the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. Prior to her current role, Robin Martin worked as a Senior Consultant in Government Relations at StrategyCorp Inc. from 2003 to 2009. She also served as a Senior Policy Advisor to the Minister of Health at the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care from 2002 to 2003. Her experience in these roles has contributed to her expertise in navigating complex governmental processes.
Legal Background and Education
Robin Martin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Joint Honours Political Science and History from McGill University, a Master's degree in Political Theory from McGill University, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Toronto. She practiced litigation for over a decade at prominent law firms, including Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP and Lenczner Slaght LLP.
Contributions to Health Initiatives
Robin Martin has been involved in significant health initiatives, notably working with the Canadian Cancer Society Innovation Fund to implement a universal cancer-screening program in Ontario.
