Current Role as Clinical Pharmacist
Stephanie Tran serves as an Exceptional Access Program Clinical Pharmacist at the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. She has held this position since 2018, where she is involved in evaluating and facilitating access to medications for patients with specific health needs. Her role requires a comprehensive understanding of pharmacotherapy and the healthcare system.
Education and Academic Achievements
Stephanie Tran completed her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) at the University of Waterloo from 2015 to 2018, where she was recognized on the Dean's Honours List. Prior to this, she studied Biomedical Sciences at the same institution from 2011 to 2013, also achieving Dean's Honours. Her academic background provides a strong foundation for her clinical practice.

Stephanie has extensive experience in various pharmacy roles. She worked as a Pharmacy Intern at Costco Wholesale Canada for two months in 2018 and as a Pharmacy Assistant for three months in 2016. Additionally, she completed clinical rotations as a Renal Transplant Pharmacy Student and an Oncology Pharmacy Student at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton and Hamilton Health Sciences, respectively, both in 2018.
Clinical Training and Student Roles
Throughout her training, Stephanie held several student positions that enhanced her clinical skills. She worked as a Medication Reconciliation Student at London Health Sciences Centre in 2017 for three months and as a Clinical Review Student in the Exceptional Access Program at the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care in 2016 for three months. These roles contributed to her practical knowledge in pharmacy practice.
