Martin Borchardt is the founder of @Henry (backed by @YCombinator) a startup that INVESTS in people, helping them to become software engineers and data scientists, in exchange of a share of their future income. Before founding @Henry, Martin founded @Nubi (exit), a cross-border payment and remittance fintech company that developed strategic alliances with tech giants like @PayPal and @Wise. In this project and others, in which he actively participates as an Advisor, he suffered first-hand the pain of finding, hiring and retaining technical talent in Latin America (lack of talent). After a year of learning and deeply understanding this problem, during which he held meetings with more than 200 executives or founders of technology companies in the region, he decided to dedicate his entire career to solve this critical "skills gap" and increase the technology talent base in the region.
