Previous Experience in Event Management
Before joining the High Museum of Art, Steve Hargrove held various positions in event management and marketing. He worked as the Director of Events and Marketing at Meals On Wheels Atlanta from 2005 to 2012. Prior to that, he served as the Assistant Dean for Career Services at Emory University School of Law from 1998 to 2001. His earlier experience includes a role as the Director of Career Services at Loyola University Chicago School of Law for one year in 1997-1998.
Education and Expertise
Steve Hargrove has a diverse educational background. He studied at Oklahoma City University, where he earned a Bachelor of Music in Voice and Piano from 1979 to 1983, followed by a Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy from 1983 to 1986. He furthered his education at Loyola University Chicago, obtaining a Juris Doctor from 1991 to 1994 and a Master of Science in Industrial Relations and Human Resources during the same period. This combination of music and law education contributes to his multifaceted expertise in event management.

He manages high-profile events, including the Trade Tasting, which accommodates 900 attendees, and the Friday Fete Gala, which hosts 750 attendees. His extensive experience in event logistics ensures the successful execution of these large-scale gatherings.
