About Peter Felsenfeld
I joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in October 2014 as a result of the merger of Hinshaw and Barger & Wolen LLP, where I participated in Barger's summer associate program. I am currently involved in a broad range of litigation matters, including insurance coverage disputes, reinsurance, bad faith liability actions, contractual disputes, product defect and complex securities actions. I have served as coverage counsel for major commercial general liability and professional liability insurers throughout the United States. In addition, I have litigated numerous employment disputes, including wage and hour, misclassification and wrongful termination cases. I regularly advise and counsel employers regarding the implementation of the Affordable Care Act. Before attending law school, I worked as a regional government reporter for the Contra Costa Times, a daily newspaper covering suburban East Bay communities.
