Shihui (Iris) Xia has been employed at Hitachi Vantara as a Software Development Engineer since 2018. During her tenure, she has played a key role in various projects, including the development of the Unified Compute Platform advisor, which is a converged infrastructure management software solution that supports VMware virtualization. She has also set up and configured the CI/CD pipeline for her team using Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, and Ansible, which has facilitated Agile development processes. Additionally, she led the database evaluation and built the initial Java microservices prototype to transition the legacy UCPA product to Kubernetes.

Background
Before joining Hitachi Vantara, Shihui (Iris) Xia interned at Huawei in 2017 as a Software Engineer Intern for two months in China. During her internship, she designed and built an API/UI/CLI testing framework using Java with TestNG and Selenium. This framework was instrumental in detecting hundreds of critical bugs, thereby improving product quality and stability.
