Laurie Williams’ Role at Home Leasing
Laurie Williams serves as the Controller for Home Leasing LLC and Home Leasing Construction. Having joined the company in 2014, Williams has been instrumental in developing policies and procedures within the accounting department. She oversees a team of 12 accounting professionals. Her responsibilities include assisting in the review of year-end audits, budgeting, and financials for all company entities. Williams also prepares monthly internal financials for the corporate entities and aids in budgeting and forecasting.
Laurie Williams’ Accounting Responsibilities
As a Controller, Laurie Williams plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting at Home Leasing. She provides guidance for the construction entities' draw process and submissions. In addition, Williams performs weekly reviews and approvals of the payroll process for over 100 employees. Currently, she is focusing on assisting with the new property management software conversion and implementation.
Laurie Williams’ Experience at Belcampo Belize Limited
Before joining Home Leasing, Laurie Williams was employed by Belcampo Belize Limited as an accounting manager. In this role, she was responsible for performing monthly reviews of financials and reporting to the head office. Williams also prepared budgets, filed monthly taxes, and managed the payroll for more than 70 employees. This experience helped her develop a strong foundation in financial management and reporting.

Laurie Williams received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Belize. This educational background has provided her with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in her roles in financial management and accounting.
