I am the founder of ZephyrBiotech, LLC, a company that specializes in fractional cross-functional team leadership for progressive biopharmaceutical companies. With over 30 years of executive-level experience in the life science industry, I have a proven track record of delivering strategic and operational solutions in areas such as therapeutic development planning, matrixed core team management/leadership, stakeholder communications, search and evaluation, due diligence, and operations re-engineering. My current and past clients include those with small compound and recombinant protein therapies in early development (pre-IND through Phase 2 clinical), and novel blood-based diagnostics. I leverage my extensive background in discovery research, licensing, and program/portfolio leadership gained from global positions at Bayer Healthcare and Aerovance, as well as several consulting engagements in the biopharmaceutical and angel investment sectors. I am passionate about creating operational, strategic, and leadership processes that enable team members to achieve audacious milestones within productive collaborations. I am adept at synthesizing, distilling, and presenting complex information in a memorable and compelling way to diverse audiences, and establishing a culture of learning and continuous improvement. I am also committed to supporting women-based initiatives in the for-profit and nonprofit sectors, and sit on Advisory Boards as well as serving as a Board Director.
