Previous Experience
Before joining HSBC, Pranjul Bhandari worked at Goldman Sachs as an Asia-Pacific Economist from 2007 to 2010 in Hong Kong. He also held a position at the International Monetary Fund as a Resident Scholar for five months in 2014 in the Washington D.C. Metro Area. Additionally, he served as an Economist in the Office of the Chief Economic Advisor at the Indian Ministry of Finance from 2010 to 2013 in Delhi, India, and as an Assistant Economist at the Department for International Development (DFID) from 2005 to 2007 in London.

Pranjul Bhandari holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi, where he studied from 2000 to 2003. He furthered his education at the University of Cambridge, earning a Master of Arts in Economics from 2003 to 2005. He also studied at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, achieving a Master of Public Administration (MPA) as a Mason Fellow from 2013 to 2014.
