Shalini Nair has been serving as the Director of Learning and Development (L&D) at HTC Global Services since 2014. Based in Chennai, her role involves designing and delivering comprehensive programs aimed at all management levels. These programs focus on enhancing skills and fostering leadership mindsets that can inspire and drive teams forward. Shalini ensures that learning methodologies include a mix of classroom sessions, practical workshops, and online modules. Shalini Nair has accumulated a wealth of experience through various roles before joining HTC Global Services. She worked as a Training and Development Coordinator at Adecco Russia in 2012-2013 and as an HR Manager at Adecco from 2010-2011. Earlier, she served as a Training Consultant at Lee Hecht Harrison (2009-2010) and a Corporate Trainer in multiple corporate settings in Noida, India (2007-2009). Additionally, she was a Training Coordinator at The Leprosy Mission (2007-2008) and Drishtee Foundation (2006-2007). Shalini began her career as a Trainer at UNNATI (1993-1997) and as a Training Coordinator at Nehru Foundation for Development, VIKSAT (1991-1993).
Educational Background
Shalini Nair has a strong academic background in social sciences and organizational development. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work with a focus on Urban and Rural Community Development from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (1989-1991). She also received a BA Honours in Psychology from Indraprastha College (1986-1989). Furthering her expertise, she completed an Organizational Development Certificate Program (ODCP) from the Indian Institute of Organizational Development in 2010. Her educational journey began with her schooling at Notre Dame Academy, where she studied subjects including English, Physics, and Maths until 1985.
