Colin Armstrong's Career in the Hydrogen Sector

Colin Armstrong is a professional mechanical engineer with over 30 years of experience in the hydrogen industry. His career includes significant contributions at Sacré-Davey Engineering, where he led the $21 million Integrated Waste Hydrogen Utilization Project (IWHUP) and a large-scale fueling station project in Whistler. Additionally, he has worked at Ballard Power Systems to develop fuel cell manufacturing systems and was an investor and lead engineer at Dynetek Industries.

Development of British Columbia's Hydrogen Station Network

Colin Armstrong played a crucial role in the development of British Columbia’s hydrogen station network. Under his leadership, HTEC opened Canada’s first retail hydrogen fueling station in 2018. His efforts have significantly contributed to the region’s hydrogen infrastructure, paving the way for further adoption of hydrogen fuel cell technology.
