Alexandre Neophytou serves as the Head of Performance at Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, Inc. since 2018. Prior to his current position, Neophytou worked at Altran as an Advanced Engineer in Thermal and Propulsion from 2012 to 2018 in Toulouse. His role involved significant contributions to the development of advanced engineering solutions that support the Hyperloop's innovative transportation system.

Research Engineer Role at CERFACS

From 2010 to 2012, Neophytou was employed as a Research Engineer in Aerospace Combustion at CERFACS in the Toulouse Area, France. In this position, he developed simulation tools aimed at evaluating the performance of Hyperloop systems. His research work contributed to the understanding and optimization of combustion processes within aerospace applications.

Educational Background

Neophytou holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Aerospace Propulsion from the University of Cambridge, where he studied from 2007 to 2010. He also earned a Master’s Degree in Space Engineering from Cranfield University in 2007, and an Engineer’s Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from ISAE-ENSICA from 2004 to 2007.
