Prior to his current position, he worked as an R&D Project Manager from 2017 to 2020 and as an R&D Engineer from 2012 to 2016. His early career at IBA included a role as a Field Service Engineer from 2008 to 2012, where he operated globally.

Marc Modave earned a Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Instrumentation and Maintenance Technologies/Technicians from Henallux, studying from 2005 to 2008. He also studied at Institut Saint Joseph Ciney, where he achieved a qualification in the same field from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, he completed training at Club Alpin Belge (CAB) and obtained a Moniteur d'escalade niveau 1 certification from 2004 to 2005. His educational background supports his expertise in R&D and engineering within the medical technology sector.
Project Management Experience
Throughout his career at IBA, Marc Modave has managed projects with budgets ranging from 100,000€ to 1.5 million€. His focus has been on the industrialization of products and enhancing the reliability of the ProteusOne installed base. Notably, he played a significant role in the development of the S2C2 accelerator for the ProteusOne proton therapy center, working on the prototype for three years before moving to the industrialization phase.
