He served as a Financial Consultant at Advisors' Clique from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, he was a Project Executive at GA Circular from 2018 to 2020, and he worked as an Educator at Providence Family Learning Centre from 2015 to 2019. His early career included a role as a Lieutenant in the Singapore Armed Forces from 2013 to 2014 and an internship as a Geo spatial analyst at the Singapore Land Authority in 2010.
Education and Qualifications
Joshua Tan studied at Singapore Polytechnic, where he earned a Diploma in Environmental Management and Water Technology from 2009 to 2012. He furthered his education at the National University of Singapore, obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Environmental Science and Engineering from 2015 to 2018. He completed his O levels at Hong Kah Secondary School from 2005 to 2008.
Speaking Engagements
Joshua will be speaking at the Asia Petrochemical Industry Conference (APIC) 2024 in Seoul, South Korea. His presentation is titled 'Asian recycled polymers – short-term hiccups to long-term optimism', where he will share insights on the challenges and future prospects of recycled polymers in the Asian market.
Personal Interests
Outside of his professional commitments, Joshua Tan has a passion for art, bodybuilding, and video games. He enjoys winding down by playing video games, which allows him to immerse himself in virtual worlds. He also begins his day with a gym session before engaging in data analytics work.
