Michael Mazzocco graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1993 with a BS in civil engineering. As an officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mike managed various nationwide and global construction projects totaling over $7.7 million in the Philippines, Thailand, Federated States of Micronesia and in the states of Hawaii and Georgia. In 1997, Mike received a MS in engineering management from the University of Missouri, Rolla. In 1999, Mike joined the Joint Warfare Analysis Center as an engineer analyst solving complex problems using engineering and technology. In 2002, Mike joined the Home Depot, Inc. As a store manager, he managed over $33.8 million in sales and supervised 160 employees. In 2006, Mike rejoined the Naval Surface Warfare Center supporting the Operational Logistics Program to manage, assess and transition technology to the U.S. Navy's combat logistics force. Mike managed a group of 10 engineer analysts and supervised the transition of the automated storage and retrieval system and free space optics technology development programs totaling more than $30 million. He authored two NSWC Dahlgren technical reports on the Navy’s logistical requirements. As a branch head, he supervised 32 engineers and cost analysts as well as a 30-member contractor support team. In 2009, Mike supported the Navy's Energy Conservation Program as Program Manager. He was responsible for developing and managing 21 energy initiatives funded at $158 M. In 2011, Mike founded Alytic, Inc. to provide management and professional services, engineering, analysis and technology development to his customers. Mike is a results-oriented professional with over twenty years of experience in leadership and engineering.
