Alexis studied Film and Digital Media at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from 2002 to 2006. She also attended the University of East Anglia, focusing on Film/Cinema/Video Studies for a year in 2004. Since 2016, she has been studying Cinematography and Film/Video Production at the Bay Area Video Coalition.
