About Bryan Truong

I loved solving jigsaw puzzles as a kid. Something about making all the small puzzle pieces form a bigger picture clicked and left me satisfied. During my adolescence I grew out of puzzles and found the same satisfaction when building large scale Lego kits. And naturally, I grew out of that and was in the search for a new outlet for that same passion. That new outlet became programming. While attending UCSD I signed up for a freshman coding seminar on a whim. Entering as a chemistry major, I had been set on going to medical school and had aspirations of becoming a doctor. Little did I know, the freshman seminar would change my outlook and ultimately my career path; I realized that I had finally found something that I was passionate about. As a fourth year attending UCSD, I now am majoring in Cognitive Science with a specialization in Machine Learning and Neural Computation and minoring in Computer Science. I am glad to say that I finally found my path in life and still carry that passion to this day. I love programming because there is always something new to learn and new obstacles to conquer; there is always room for growth. Reach out if you ever want to talk about anything! Languages: Python, Java, C/C++, C#, HTML/CSS, JavaScript/Typescript
