I have a Math degree and worked as a teacher/tutor for around 10 years. I recently moved to the US and have a gap in my resume, since during the immigration process I was waiting for my work permit! I'm currently studying programming and looking for a job and I fully believe that the skills that I developed as a Math teacher have a mix of caring about people and technical problems that makes a great software engineer. I like Rust, Python is the language that I'm most proficient in. I really enjoy learning a little about many things, since I feel like context building is great, and having an idea of where to look to solve a problem is one of the best skills to have. And I love solving problems (technical and otherwise), being helpful, and having meaningful conversations about how tech affects people.
