Before joining IndusInd Bank, Partha Dhar accumulated extensive experience in the banking sector. He worked at Axis Bank from 2008 to 2012 as the DVP and Zonal Head for Emerging Corporate in Kolkata. Prior to that, he was with ICICI Bank from 2003 to 2005 as a Regional Solution Manager for the Rural Financial Institution Group. His career also includes a role at Larsen & Toubro from 2012 to 2015 as the Zonal Head for Corporate Loans.

Partha Dhar holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) in Finance from the Institute of Business Management and Research, which he completed from 1996 to 1998. He also studied at the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, achieving a CS and PGDBA from 1996 to 2001. Additionally, he completed the Insolvency Resolution Examination in 2017, further enhancing his expertise in finance and insolvency resolution.
