Before his tenure at Sanofi, Werner Seiz worked at Hoechst AG as a Study Manager for phase III and IV trials from 1992 to 1997. He also held positions as a Clinical Pharmacologist at Aventis and Sanofi from 1997 to 2004. Earlier in his career, he served as a Staff Anesthesiologist at the University Clinic Frankfurt from 1985 to 1992 and as a Physician in the German Army in 1984.
