About Jacqueline Gonzalez
I spent most of my life in the beautiful city of Miami Springs where I graduated class of 2009 from Miami Springs Senior High School. At Ave Maria University in Collier County, Florida earned a double major Bachelor of Arts Degree; one in Psychology, the second in Exercise Science. I have also been involved in the game of soccer at the goalkeeper position since the age of seven. I earned the distinction of being the staring “keeper” both with schools and private clubs. If hired, I will excel due to my education, diverse experience and people skills. My employment at The Lodge and Women's Shelter of Hope has given me real life insight into the troubled lives of domestic violence victims. The years I worked as an educational financial aid process clerk at Ave Maria University’s Financial Aid Department provided insight into the intricate financial issues surrounding a college education and how to assist others to navigate through the maze that financial aid can sometimes be. Working in the food service industry has taught me that no job is menial and that to serve others one must always have a positive attitude. I have learned the importance of being sensitive towards minority groups thanks to my work at both the domestic violence shelters and with the LGBTQ community at SAVE Dade. I am excellent at working with others to accomplish goals thanks to my many years of playing a large-team sport. In conclusion, it is my unique experience that will ultimately allow me to be a successful and effective employee.
