Khalil Gorsan Mestiri holds a Computer Science Engineer degree from ENSI - Ecole Nationale des Sciences de l'Informatique, where he studied Finance and Statistics from 2016 to 2019. He also completed a Deep Reinforcement Learning NanoDegree certification at Udacity in 2020, focusing on artificial intelligence. His educational background includes a Diplôme d'Etudes Universitaires du Premier Cycle in Mathematics and Physics from IPEIT - Institut Préparatoire aux Etudes d'Ingénieurs de Tunis, achieved from 2014 to 2016. Before joining InstaDeep, Khalil Gorsan Mestiri gained diverse experience in various roles. He worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Attijari Bank Tunisie for one month in 2018. He also served as an Advisory Council Member at ENSI Junior Entreprise from 2018 to 2019. His earlier experience includes a four-month internship as an Artificial Intelligence Engineer Intern at InstaDeep in 2019 and a three-month student internship at FIS in 2018. Additionally, he held the position of Marketing Manager at ENSI Junior Entreprise from 2017 to 2018 and participated in organizing the JET Spring Seminar in 2017.
Research and Projects
Khalil Gorsan Mestiri has led and participated in several research projects during his career. He collaborated with an intern to address complex routing problems, including the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP), Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP), and Time-Dependent Traveling Salesman Problem with Time Windows (TSPTW) using reinforcement learning methods. He proposed a Hybrid Genetic Algorithm for solving Vehicle Routing Problems (VRP) as part of the Meta-ea research project. His work reflects a strong focus on applying advanced algorithms to real-world challenges.
