About Maseeh Sidky
Currently, I’m legal counsel at Intact Insurance Company practicing Insurance Defence. Prior to joining Intact Insurance Company, I was an Associate in a reputable national law firm and practiced Civil Litigation, focusing primarily in Commercial Litigation. I also assisted senior counsel with Municipal Law files. While practicing, I also held a position as a part-time professor teaching Municipal Law at Conestoga College. While in law school, I served as a teaching assistant for a dispute resolution course. After law school, I co-founded the Afghan-Canadian Lawyers' Association and served as a Vice-President of this organization. Prior to law school, I worked as a teaching assistant for a second year undergraduate research course at York University. During this time and as part of giving back to my community, I volunteered and provided translation services for new immigrants and worked alongside a paralegal, serving members of the community in the Region of Peel and Toronto.
