I am a development professional with 9 years of experience in international development, corporate banking, and development finance across Bangladesh, Nepal, Indonesia, and the USA, with exposure to projects in Eastern Europe and East Africa, with an acute focus on private sector development, My career has spanned across all phases of the project cycle management, encompassing strategic design, stakeholder negotiation, program implementation, research design, monitoring and evaluation, and knowledge management. I have worked across a multitude of development projects, including enterprise development, financial inclusion, women’s economic empowerment, public health, local economic development, agricultural value-chains development as so on. I have worked across the major departments of corporate banking, including client coverage, treasury, financial controlling unit, operations, and compliance. I was chosen by Citibank, N.A. from a pool of over 1,400 candidates for a two-year fast-track program with rotations across different departments of the bank within Citibank's Asia Pacific region. I am highly adept in data management and analysis and have designed data management frameworks for major organizations. I have hands-on knowledge on the DCED Standards, having faced a DCED Audit in 2016, where my project scored 94%. With a strong passion for writing, I have contributed to leading international development platforms, such as the World Bank’s “End Poverty in South Asia” blog portal and the development practitioners’ exchange forum – the BEAM Exchange blog. I also regularly contribute to a leading national newspaper in Bangladesh on contemporary development issues. I have frequently represented my organizations in various international trainings and seminars across Indonesia, Thailand, Nepal, Kenya, and Albania.
