About Mahima Khanna
Seasoned Economist, Strategist and Development Finance professional. Currently working in International Finance Corporation’s (IFC’s) Financial Institutions Group (FIG), as a Strategy Officer covering both Investment and Advisory Services across 180 countries with over 900 financial institutions. Previously, I worked in academia, public and private sectors. These experiences have systematically trained me in investment review, strategy formulation, research methodology, survey design, evaluation strategy and methodology, usage of big-data tools etc. I have also learnt the importance of time management and multi-tasking which have molded me into a scrupulous, determined and disciplined individual and has given me invaluable insights. In 2011 I became the third Indian (after Dr. Amartya Sen (1956) and Sir Partha Dasgupta (1967)) to receive the Stevenson Prize for best all-round performance at the University of Cambridge (MPhil. Economic Research). Also, I was voted as the Youth Icon of India in 2012. These achievements humble me and have increased my passion to share lessons learned professionally and personally.
