About Margaret Jackson Flpi
I am a Human Resource & Adult Learning Consultant with over 25 years’ experience in senior management of various organisations spanning textile manufacturing, management consulting, micro-finance and NGOs. I am an International Finance Corporation (IFC) Business Edge Certified Master Trainer and Assessor using training to deliver business solutions in the areas of HR, Marketing and Soft Skills. I am also an IFC Certified Instructional Designer. As a consultant, I have managed the full spectrum of SME capacity building projects including overall program design, Instructional Design, Training Needs Assessment (TNA) and Training-Of-Trainers (TOT). These projects have been for SME operating in the Oil and Gas, Agriculture, and other key sectors. I have also facilitated BE Training-Of-Trainers (TOT) programs in Ethiopia, Mozambique, Sierra Leone and South Sudan, Ghana, Nigeria and Liberia. I have also conducted numerous BE workshops in Ghana and in Nigeria and Liberia and Sierra Leone. I have trained the next generation of leaders in programs such as the Civil Society Leadership Institute (West Africa) and the Ghana Economic Forum Next Generation Leaders. I am a member of the core faculty of both programs. I have designed and supervised SME Linkages Projects for the IFC in Sierra Leone and Liberia, where SMEs were prepared through training and non-training supports such as symposia and networking events and linked to large corporates in their value chains. I am a mentor on the Young African Leaders’ Initiative(YALI; the President Obama Project for young African Leaders) Project. I have also coached and mentored young professionals across the length and breadth of Africa.
