About Mohammed Aliyu
Solution oriented professional with over 19 years of experience in strategic policy formulation and implementation, project management, public private partnership, business development and systems strengthening with the public and private sectors and Development Partners. Through leading and assisting with project preparation and implementation whilst working with the World Bank Group, I have become highly capable of taking up representational, partnership and management responsibilities including policy development and advocacy with the government, fostering and managing partnerships with the Development community, and stakeholder management. I am equipped with problem solving, conflict management, facilitation, community entry and engagement skills. Led the outreach, targeting, skills acquisition efforts of LikeMinds Project, a local NGO, for programs targeting Internally Displaced People in North Eastern Nigeria. Experience in engaging with investment and equity firms interested in infra-projects. With International experience working in Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Kenya, Nigeria and United Arab Emirates, I have developed culturally sensitive communication and negotiation skills as well as an adaptability to work effectively in various teams and environments.
