Yang is an investment professional with experience and a proven cross-cultural and cross-country track record in engaging buy-side investors, investment managers, corporations, policymakers and academia with particular expertise in emerging market equity and fixed-income investments. Currently, Yang focuses on green, sustainable and transition finance within the larger global ESG-themed investment universe in the Climate Business Department of IFC. Previously, Yang was the lead green and sustainable finance market analyst for the HSBC Real Economy Green Investment Opportunity Bond Fund (REGIO Fund) and its accompanying IFC Technical Assistance Facility (TAF). REGIO Fund is the world's 1st EM green bond fund dedicated to bringing EM real sector (non-financial) corporates to issue green and other ESG-themed bonds. Before that, Yang was the lead market analyst in the EM green bond space, ESG-centered investment strategies, and market potential for sustainable finance, as part of the world's largest green bond fund, IFC-Amundi Planet Emerging One Green (EGO) Fund and the Green Bond Technical Assistance Program (GB-TAP). Yang started her career in fiduciary investment management, with particular focus on the equity and fixed-income asset classes, as well as EM economies.
