Patryk Wekwejt serves as the President and Founder of the Neuroscience Club at the International Youth Neuroscience Association. He has held this position since 2021, leading initiatives aimed at promoting neuroscience education and engagement among youth. His role involves organizing events, facilitating discussions, and encouraging participation in neuroscience-related activities.

Patryk Wekwejt studied at Joseph Bem High School No.1 in Ostroleka from 2019 to 2022, focusing on Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. He achieved the highest GPA in his school for seven consecutive years. His academic excellence earned him a scholarship from the Prime Minister of Poland, recognizing his achievements in education.
Research and Presentations
In 2021, Patryk presented a research project on the role of Alpha-Melanocyte-Stimulating Hormone in Alzheimer’s Disease at the London International Youth Science Forum. He also worked as a Research Scholar at Leadership Initiatives for one month in 2021. Currently, he is a Research Scholar at Urząd Marszałkowski Województwa Mazowieckiego w Warszawie, a position he has held since 2017.
Achievements in Competitions
Patryk Wekwejt has received several accolades in academic competitions. He won 1st place in the National Brain Bee Competition and achieved a Gold medal in the British Biology Olympiad. He ranked among the top 2.5% of participants in the Polish Biology Olympiad, showcasing his proficiency in biological sciences.
Leadership and Community Engagement
Patryk founded and organized the first English-speaking conference in Ostroleka, TEDxYouth@JBHS, serving as its Founder and Organizer from 2020 to 2021. He has also participated in the ADAMED SmartUP scholarship programme, where he was selected as one of 10 laureates from 9000 applicants, further demonstrating his commitment to leadership and community engagement.
