About Kevin Furbish
Over twenty years developing and designing software and leading teams in ISVs. I have experience developing web applications from the UI through to the database; machine learning/data science with Python, R, Hadoop; Ethereum smart contracts; and some mobile app development with iOS and Android. In my current role I spend my time coming up with new product ideas, implementing them incrementally, testing with customers and partnering with product teams to take them to market. This usually starts with an ambiguous goal like "make our products more intelligent" or "create a network of our customers" and using design thinking along with a technology focus to narrow in on product ideas to experiment with. I've worked on creating new social networks, augmenting rule-based knowledge engineering with machine learning (Hybrid AI), an Ethereum-based marketplace using ERC20 and ERC721 tokens, context-based anticipatory systems, and creating holistic customer profiles, to name a few recent areas.
