Kate Gribbon has been with Investec since 2020, currently serving as Managing Director and Co-head of the Private Company Fundraising Team. In 2022, she took on the role of Head of Financial Sponsor Coverage & Origination, focusing on private equity, growth, and venture capital. Her responsibilities include coordinating efforts with European private equity funds following Investec's acquisition of Capitalmind, a European M&A boutique. She is instrumental in originating M&A mandates and lending opportunities within the private equity client group.
Previous Experience in Corporate Finance
Before joining Investec, Kate Gribbon held several positions in corporate finance. She worked at Deloitte from 2004 to 2015, progressing from Assistant Manager in Audit to Manager in Corporate Finance Advisory, and later to Executive in Corporate Finance Advisory. She also served as Associate Director and then Director at Cavendish Corporate Finance LLP from 2015 to 2020. Additionally, she was a Director of Origination at finnCap from 2018 to 2020.

Kate Gribbon studied at the University of Oxford, where she earned a BA Hons and MA in Economics & Management from 2001 to 2004. She also attended Cheltenham Ladies' College from 1993 to 2000.
