Cristina Bentue has served as the Chief Operating Officer at IriusRisk since 2008. Under her leadership, the company has expanded from a small startup to a market-leading Threat Modeling organization with 120 employees across three continents. She co-founded IriusRisk with Stephen de Vries and has been instrumental in its growth. In addition to her operational role, she leads the community edition of IriusRisk and serves on both the Board of Directors and the Expert Advisory Board.

Cristina Bentue has an extensive educational background. She studied at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, earning a BA in Spanish Language and Literature from 2004 to 2007. She also holds multiple degrees from Universitat de Barcelona, including a Diploma in Education, a Doctoral Course in Literature and Archaeology in the Near East, and an M.A. in Comparative Semitic Linguistics. Additionally, she studied at SOAS University of London, where she earned an MA in Ancient Near East and a B.A. in Ancient Near East Philology.
