Prior to his current position, he served as Director of Product Development from 2014 to 2021 and as Senior Software Engineer from 2008 to 2014. During his tenure, he led the organization’s transition to Agile and Scrum methodologies, acting as Scrum Master for five new teams and overseeing the creation of four additional teams.

Christian Thompson earned a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia, studying from 1994 to 1998. He later obtained a Master of Science in Computer Science with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence from George Mason University, completing his studies from 2003 to 2005. Before joining isolved, Christian Thompson worked at Inserso as a Senior Software Engineer from 2000 to 2008 and at Lockheed Martin as a Senior Associate Software Engineer from 1998 to 2000. His early career laid a strong foundation in software engineering, which he built upon during his time at isolved. Additionally, he has engaged in personal projects, including the development of pyAirplane in 2020.
Achievements
During his career, Christian Thompson has developed an engineering strategy that contributed to a 30% reduction in hotfixes. He also designed a metrics collection program to measure team performance and facilitate continuous improvement. His work includes creating a rule-based static code analysis tool for C# and SQL code that integrates with Azure DevOps and runs in Azure Functions.
