Education and Expertise
Vongani Nkuna has a strong educational background in engineering and management. He obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Chemical Engineering from Tshwane University of Technology from 2001 to 2004. He furthered his studies with a BSc Hons in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Pretoria from 2008 to 2009. Additionally, he completed a Management Development Programme at the University of Stellenbosch Business School from 2013 to 2014.
Early Career and Training
Nkuna began his career in metallurgy with an in-service training position at Mintek in 2003, where he gained practical experience for 11 months. This foundational experience paved the way for his subsequent roles in various organizations, including SNC-Lavalin, where he worked as a Process Engineer from 2010 to 2013.
