About Jenny Alvarado
I am an organized, self-starter capable of managing my time efficiently. Managing multiple projects and tasks, with the experience of working with/for multiple coworkers. I was the assistant for the VP of Sales, CEO, and Owner at the same time due to a downsizing of the company. And currently work with three product managers on a regular basis. I can simplify projects to get them done quickly and efficiently. Turning complex ideas and projects into pieces that are easier to understand. I prioritize my day first thing and keep a running to do list during the day. I managed my time for 4 years as my direct report working remotely. My family is important to me. I prefer to work earlier in the day so I can have time for my family in the evening. I manage my work and home life efficiently, whether it is activities for my children or working at night to get a project done. I have been on multiple business trips for sales meetings and trade shows. In my free time I also enjoy crocheting as a relaxation tool or as a creative boost. I am dedicated to any project whether it be for my job or my family. If I say something can be done, I get it done. I graduated in 3 ½ years from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Marketing and Management. Continuing my education is a goal of. I have helped create and research new product lines, catalogs, edited photos and managed all packaging with the use of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. I have general proofreading skills and excellent grammar skills. I have been responsible for sending all sales and marketing materials and samples. I have created sales presentations for products and lines using PowerPoint. I have contact with vendors overseas daily for quotes, samples and other information. I have also contacted customers from buyers to the end user. I have used the various features of excel to create reports for sales forecasting, quote sheets for vendors, and internal documents.
