About Les Trachtman
Les Trachtman is an entrepreneur, educator and business leader. His book: "Don't F**K It Up, How Founders and Their Successors Can Avoid the Cliches that Inhibit Growth" is an Amazon best seller. For the past eight years he has served as the CEO of Purview, a health tech company focused on delivering remote second opinions. In addition to his work at Purview, Trachtman is an adjunct instructor at The Carey Business School of Johns Hopkins University and often is invited as a guest lecturer at Harvard Business School, MIT, Lehigh, USC, BU or a host of other universities. When he is not working full time at Purview, teaching, helping a startup, consulting with a founder or successor, you can usually find him sailing. Les is known for asking the hard questions, challenging executives, infusing critical thinking and uncovering intransigent practices that inhibit company growth. Trachtman received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Union College and an MBA and JD from Emory University. Combining a deep knowledge of technology, marketing, legal and business operations, he is engaged by investors, executives, and business leaders to accelerate growth and increase stakeholder value. Trachtman grew up in New York and has lived in Atlanta, Boston, Connecticut and Annapolis, MD. He has traveled extensively across the globe and throughout the United States. He currently lives with his wife Michelle on the Severn River in Annapolis, Maryland and has two grown children, Megan – an interior designer in Annapolis, MD and Robbie – a health tech product manager in Cambridge, MA.
