Current Positions at Kohl's

Liz Darland has been deeply involved with Kohl's in various capacities for the past decade. Since 2018, she has served as the Team Lead for Digital Design, where she oversees the design and production of the Kohls.com Home Page and Department Pages. Her role requires her to ensure that all production deadlines are met and that workflow is distributed efficiently among her team. Prior to this role, Liz worked as a Digital Designer at Kohl's from 2016 and initially started as a Digital Designer in 2012 in Menomonee Falls, WI.

Previous Experience

Liz Darland brings a wealth of experience in the beauty and design industries. From 2008 to 2012, she worked at Ulta as a Part-Time Prestige Cosmetics Consultant, where she honed her skills as a make-up artist and sales expert in Brookfield, WI. She also worked as a Graphic Designer at Catral Doyle creative co. for 10 months in 2003, and earlier, at Wisconsin State Fair Park from 2001 to 2003. Liz began her career as a Graphic Design Intern at Northwestern Mutual in 2000 in the Greater Milwaukee Area.

Freelance Graphic Design

Apart from her roles in various companies, Liz Darland has been working as a Freelance Graphic Designer and Illustrator since 2001 in New Berlin, WI. Through her freelance work, she has been able to explore creative freedom and extend her services to a wider range of clients, delivering customized graphic design and illustration projects.

Education and Qualification

Liz Darland's educational background is in both fine arts and design. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Painting from St. Norbert College, where she studied from 1993 to 1997. She furthered her education in Painting at the Royal College of Art in 1995. Additionally, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Illustration/Communication Design from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, where she studied from 1998 to 2000.
