He led Logan Water’s first Building Information Modeling (BIM) implementation for the Cedar Grove Waste Water Treatment Plant & Environmental Centre, which received awards for its innovative approach. His contributions have advanced the field of asset management within municipal infrastructure.
Leadership Roles and Contributions
Darren Moore has held leadership positions, including Chair of the QLD State for the Institute of Public Works Engineers Australasia from 2012 to 2021. In this capacity, he focused on strategic asset management and data specifications. He also led the commercialization of an industry-standard data specification for municipal infrastructure data, ensuring accurate creation, capture, and validation for asset registration and advanced analytics.
