Minh Dao serves as the Deputy Lead of the KPMG National Deals Tax Group and has been a Global Infrastructure Strategy Board Member at KPMG since 2018. Minh Dao currently holds the position of Deputy Lead in the KPMG National Deals Tax Group at KPMG Australia, a role he has occupied since 2021. His tenure at KPMG Australia began in 2001, where he worked in Deal Advisory Tax until 2015. In addition to his roles in Australia, he has also served as a Tax Director during a secondment in the UK in 2014.

He has also played a key role in various high-profile transactions, including AMP Capital’s acquisition of ANU student accommodation and the successful bid for Ausgrid.

He contributed to transactions valued at billions of dollars, including advising the winning bidders for Endeavour Energy and the ASX listed Broadcast Australia Group. His expertise extends to renewable energy projects, having advised on the Royalla Solar Farm and various wind farm projects. In recognition of his contributions, he was named the 2015 Corporate Tax Adviser of the Year by the Tax Institute.
