Currently, Malkeet Singh serves as the Associate Director (SM) for Technology and Head of IT Infrastructure at KPMG India. He has been in this role since 2020, overseeing critical infrastructure projects and initiatives. His responsibilities include managing IT infrastructure resilience, having successfully set up a new data center and disaster recovery site in different seismic zones. Singh directs quality project and program objectives to align with corporate plans and goals, ensuring the organization meets its operational targets.
Previous Experience in IT
Malkeet Singh has a diverse background in the IT sector, having worked in various roles over the years. He began his career as a Customer Support Engineer at IT&T in 1998 for three months. He then served as an IT Support Specialist at Siemens Nixdorf from 1998 to 2000. Following that, he worked at IBM India Pvt. Ltd as a Technical Account Manager from 2000 to 2017, gaining extensive experience in client engagement and technical management. He also worked at Integrated Tech9labs Pvt Ltd as a Technical Consultant in Professional Services from 2017 to 2020.
Education and Expertise
Malkeet Singh holds a Diploma in Computers from Guru Tegh Bahadur Polytechnic, where he studied from 1995 to 1998. He furthered his education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in IT and Operations from NIMS, completing his studies between 2008 and 2010. His educational background supports his expertise in technology management, infrastructure resilience, and project leadership.

In his current and previous roles, Malkeet Singh has demonstrated strong leadership and management skills. He has handled the management of over 12,000 users across various locations and led a team of more than 130 members, including outsourced resources. Singh has played a key role in consolidating applications and infrastructure to streamline operations and has managed innovative senior DevOps teams focused on cloud resource deployment automation.

Malkeet Singh has directed various information security projects, including implementations for ISO27001 and GDPR compliance. He has conceptualized and formulated change and release management processes, ensuring high availability and stability within IT operations. His experience includes driving client engagement workshops to establish service level agreements (SLAs) and developing technology business plans aimed at revenue growth and margin improvement.
