Zainab Patel has extensive experience with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). She worked as a Programme Officer from 2009 to 2015, followed by a role as a Policy Analyst for Human Rights from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, she served as the Manager for HIV, Health, and Human Rights from 2018 to 2019. Her roles involved developing policies and programs aimed at enhancing human rights and health outcomes.

Zainab Patel completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University, Faizabad, from 2004 to 2006. She also holds a Bachelor of Mass Media from Mumbai University, which she obtained from 2002 to 2005. Her educational background has equipped her with the skills necessary to address complex issues related to inclusion and diversity.
Experience at The Humsafar Trust
Prior to her work at KPMG and UNDP, Zainab Patel served as a Programme Manager and CYP Asia Youth Ambassador at The Humsafar Trust from 2001 to 2006 in the Mumbai area. In this capacity, she focused on programs that supported LGBTQ communities and youth engagement, contributing to the organization's mission of promoting health and human rights.
