Juda Strawczynski has a strong educational foundation in law and international development. He earned his Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Toronto, studying from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, he completed a Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies and Humanistic Studies at McGill University from 1998 to 2002. He also studied at Aix-Marseilles, further enhancing his academic credentials.

From 2013 to 2018, Strawczynski served as President of Canadian Lawyers for International Human Rights (CLAIHR). Strawczynski began his legal career as a Legal Fellow at Physicians for Human Rights from 2006 to 2007. He then worked as an Associate at O'Donnell Robertson Sanfilippo Barristers & Solicitors for one year in 2010. These early roles provided him with foundational experience in legal practice and advocacy.
